Karolina Muchova is a very consistent player who accumulates wins most weeks on tour. She will be far too versatile for Diana Shnaider assuming her fitness is assured. Belinda Bencic looked very good in beat Linette and should overcome Yulia Starodubtseva.

Mirra Andreeva is the top seed in this WTA500 event. The top half looks a lot easier but even this may not help a woefully out of form Andreeva make it to the final.
