DTM was left bemused and frustrated by the two retirements yesterday. Both semi finals ended up finishing prematurely after the first set ended. Interesting to note that most investments are voided unless the first set is completed! I’m not sure Badosa and Muchova retired when they did was pure coincidental but we will never know ! Mirr

Mirra Andreeva has had a great season and is flying and she should be far too strong for Kasatkina. In the final. A straight sets win looks entirely possible:)

Looking at the draw several players have been busy in their quest for a title. #1 seed Jasmine Paolini and #2 seed Qinwen Zheng will be both tired from deep runs in Wuhan. DTM likes the chances of Karolina Muchova to take the title this week. She has a good draw especially now Aheng has withdrawn.
