Amanda Anisimova looks the most likely to win this event now. Rybakina's exit was a big shock but of the remaining players Anisimova is playing the most consistent.
DTM recommends
A.Anisimova to beat Q.Zheng
Emma Raducanu won comfortably in round 2 and will certainly present a tougher test than Kessler in the last 8 against the top seed, Qinwen Zheng. Given the home support and a nothing to lose tag, Raducanu has to be the play again in this match up at Queens. Elsewhere Amanda Anisimova should beat Emma Navarro.
DTM recommends
E.Raducanu to beat Q.Zheng
A.Anisimova to beat E.Navarro

She looked impressive in her first round win and she is expected to defeat Sramkova without too much trouble. A 2 sets to 0 victory is the suggestion:) Katie Boulter may well make it a good day for the Brits by beating Shnaider. She has the benefit of one match on the show court and Shnaider may struggle to adapt as quickly as she needs to against the home favourite:)
DTM recommends
E.Raducanu to beat R.Sramkova 2 sets to 0
K.Boulter to beat D.Shnaider
Madison Keys has been in London a few days practising hard on the grass. She will be ready for a decent crack at this title this week. Her first match sees her play the qualifier Anastasia Zakharova. Although no profit to be made Keys will both win and lay down a marker for her prospects later in the month at SW19 :)
DTM recommends
M.Keys to beat A.Zakharova

The proven grass court players have a distinct advantage especially playing at the first event of the grass court season. Several qualifiers will have already played on grass in Birmingham last week so a few surprises will be expected as well. Conditions appear to be mixed as well so the start of this week some players will to stay standing than risk injury as Wimbledon is just around the corner :) The most obvious opportunity for a surprise lies in the match between Rebekah Sramkova and Barbora Krejcikova. The current Wimbledon champion has had a torrid year with injuries and despite her recent return to the court she looked far from being 100% fit in Paris. Although she won one round her defeat to Kudermetova was worrying. DTM believes the timing of her return to the game is more down to defending her Wimbledon crown and walking out on as defending champion than the fact she is really match fit? Time will tell but Sramkova is the sensible option on Tuesday morning:) Elsewhere is mainly a watching brief but I would think Katie Boulter will prevail against her Australian opponent as she is basically a younger and healthier version of the same playing style.
DTM recommends
R.Sramkova to beat B.Krejcikova
K.Boulter to beat A.Tomljanovic

The proven grass court know how of Elena Rybakina is a very tempting option. Positioned as number 4 seed her section of the draw looks comfortable until the semi final. Given her recent form in Strasbourg and Paris her confidence is now much higher and her form is bubbling nicely. Regardless of who comes out of the bottom section of the draw she is likely to be a strong candidate to make the final and ultimately win the title :) In the top half of the draw it is perfectly sensible to consider Emma Raducanu making a deep run at this event. She is a sensible alternative each way to Rybakina:)
DTM recommends
E.Rybakina to win the HSBC Championships
E.Raducanu each way
Qinwen Zheng has made the short trip across the English Channel from Paris to London to ensure she gets as much time on the grass courts before Wimbledon starts at the end of June:) She heads the list of seeds in what is sure to be a very interesting event as the women return to Queens for the first time in over 50 years:)
