Barbora Krejcikova when fit is match for anyone at Wimbledon. So it proved against Andreeva in a fabulous match on Wednesday. She will beat Bartunkova on Friday. Elsewhere Jessica Pegula and Karolina Muchova should both ease through to the fourth round as well:)
DTM recommends
B.Krejcikova to beat N.Bartunkova
J.Pegula to beat J.Bouzas-Maneiro
K.Muchova to beat M.Sawangkaew

Ashlyn Krueger has been playing at the lower level recently, even requiring to qualify for a WTA125 event at Birmingham. Vekic is a good option. Lots o f top players will advance but the value may be had with the next tier of players. Ann Li is a very solid pro who looks a better option than Sonmez on grass. Sonmez struggled to beat Harriet Dart last week so this is a big step up in terms of opponent? Bartunkova is in good form and Peyton Stearns seems under prepared for the grass season having played just one qualifying event last week in Eastbourne where she failed to make the main draw. Clara Tauson has a big game for grass and should over power Sakkari.
DTM recommends
D.Vekic to beat A.Krueger
A.Li to beat Z.Sonmez
A.Kalinskaya to beat M.Frech
N.Bartunkova to beat P.Stearns
C.Tauson to beat M.Sakkari

With the draw below now out you have to say that Jessica Pegula has got a good draw and good conditions to do well. The only doubt is she has not always found her best game at SW19. Her best run was to the quarter finals when she lost to Vondrousova. The fact that she has lost early the past two seasons suggests that this year she should avoid an early exit. She has had an excellent preparation and should reach the semi finals at least. In the the top section of the top half, Aryna Sabalenka needs to find her mental game fast to go deep. She has to overcome Naomi Osaka to reach the last 8 and that will be a serious test. At present Id rather have Osaka to win that match up. The bottom half is wide open but Madison Keys and Linda Noskova are flying and could present some value. However only one of them can make the last 8 as they are in the same section. Donna Vekic could be a surprise to reach the latter stages but her stamina might be found out. Iga Swiatek is out of form and can lightning really strike twice given that she lost to Navarro this last week. Rybakina is the seed to reach the final and if she did then she would be dangerous. But I can't see her turning her form round having lost twice on grass in recent weeks.
It is going to be very interesting to see if the dominance at grand slams of the top players continues? For me the top 3 in the world look shaky and so the final might be between besties Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys:)
DTM recommends
Jessica Pegula to win her quarter
Jessica Pegula each way for the title
Madison Keys to win her quarter
Madison Keys each way for the title
Outsider
Alex Eala to win her quarter
Donna Vekic to win her quarter

DTM has highlighted tennisabstract.com before. This is a great place to start when considering who is most likely to win this year. As with any big event the top 10 in the world rankings is a natural place to start. Within that list you also need grass court proven form which helps to narrow down the number of possibilities:)
You always have to consider the top 2 in the world for these big events but neither are in the form they showed at the start of the season. Their recent defeats have given hope to everyone else. They appear to have lost some of their invincibility. Jessica Pegula and Mirra Andreeva both are in good form but Andreeva may struggle to win back to back grand slams especially on grass. Pegula might be the bridesmaid but she has a good shot this year assuming she gets the firm, dry conditions which make the courts play more like hard courts. Linda Noskova is 4th choice on current form. Always a dangerous player on this surface she now looks like she can stay composed enough o make a challenge. Naomi Osaka is looking a whole lot more confident and she is proven at these events so has to be considered. I don't see an outsider winning Wimbledon but one or two may well achieve a few notable scalps. Alex Eala is one player on grass who has shown she can beat anyone but a lot will depend on how well she can serve after already playing 4 events on grass this summer?
The Wimbledon website is great for information about the venue and of course all the players and the various draws across singles and doubles. The third grand slam is always a wonderful occasion.
